Recipients of the 2019 Microenterprise Business of the Year Award

In 2019, We Grow Microgreens, LLC, was nominated for award from Greenovate Boston, Mayor Walsh’s initiative to empower Boston residents to take action on climate change in their neighborhoods. The annual awards recognize those making an impact in climate action and environmental sustainability in Boston.  In 2019, Lisa spoke at the awards event. Our 3500 gallon rain water tanks and Soliculture solar panels are soon to be operational. Next year, we hope to win the award.

Boothbay Harbor's Maine Clawdown

We Grow Micrgreens is a proud supplier to featured chefs on the television program Good Day Maine. During the the 4th Annual Maine Clawdown in 2015, executive chef Dwanye Whitelocke took second place using our microgreens in his signature Dom Perignon Lobster Bite.
