Lisa Evans
Co-Founder
A former Boston Public Schools teacher with degrees from Tufts, Simmons, and UMass, Lisa co-founded We Grow Microgreens in 2015 after discovering the power of microgreens at the Hippocrates Health Institute. She has since sharpened her business acumen through programs like Interise's Streetwise MBA and New Entry's Sustainable Farming Project, helping grow the farm into the thriving operation it is today.
Tim Smith
Co-Founder
A Newton native, former history teacher, and graduate from Oberlin and Boston College law school, Tim co-founded We Grow Microgreens alongside Lisa, turning a passion for plants into a thriving urban farm in Boston's Hyde Park. Guided by patience and curiosity, he specializes in microgreens and the challenge of growing subtropical fruits in New England — always learning, always teaching.
Tessa
Horticultural Intern
I am currently in my second year at Northeastern University, where I am continuing to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Sustainability Sciences.
I aim to dedicate my life to learning how our communities can coexist with nature, rather than fight against it.

Design Intern
I'm a 3rd Year at Northeastern University, Khoury College of Computer Sciences studying a combined major in Computer Science and Design.
Open-minded and motivated by curiosity, I'm seeking opportunities to challenge myself and grow in technical and creative roles.
